Shoutout to my buddy Ismael Bamba
I would like to give a shoutout to my buddy Ismael Bamba a true freshman wide receiver and kick-returner at University of North Dakota. His first carrer catch was a 61 yard pickup for a touchdown. Last weekend he returned three kickoffs for 147 yards and leads the Great West Football Conference in yards per kickoff return averaging 49 yars per return. Next week the Fighting Sioux (5-1) will be heading to California to face the UC-Davis Aggies (4-4). Good luck to the Fighting Sioux. If you wish to become a fan of Ismael Bamba on facebook just write his name in the search box. In the near future, I would love to go and see him perform in Grand Forks N.D. maybe next year. Keep up the good work buddy!
By the way the St-Léonard Cougars won the OFC semi-final by the score of 28-14 we have alot of work to do in order to win the next two games.

The playoffs begin in the OFC!
VS
After defeating the Burlington Braves at Nelson Stadium, and finishing first in the Ontario Football Conference, last week we are getting ready to shut down the Hurricanes who beat us once this year. There is less football left now so lets enjoy the last few games to a maximum. Because of the federal elections on tuesday we had limited practice time this week but we put in a basic but effective game plan that should help us send back the Canes to Hamilton with a frown on their faces. The game was supposed to be a 1 pm but because of a shortage of refs it will be at 7 o clock at Stade-Hébert. Our 3-4 defense should help us put on more pressure on Qb Brian Echlin. The Winsor AKO Fratmen are playing the Burlington Braves at Nelson Stadium tonight to decide who will have the privilege to fight for the OFC title next saturday
God bless the playoffs!

WINSOR AKO FRATMEN VS STL COUGARS
VS
On august 17th the cougars where defeated 24-14 by the Winsor AKO Fratmen, the cougars hadn't lost a game inside the conference in more than 4 years. As the weather is getting colder we start seeing who are the real warriors who will claw with their fingernails for an inch (as Al Pacino said) All week I was devestated by the people arriving late and flat at practices but last night at the walk-trough I realised that we can pull it off with the guys we have by sticking togheter, working hard and doing our assignements. We where all so hyped and ready to go to war. And for tonights gave it shouldn't be a problem because the stakes are so high, if we beat them by 10 points we can still finish first. Success will be the best revenge...
